About JASEC Lab
By matching researchers (Academy members) with businesses (Business members) and coordinators, product development with authoritative evidence can be easily realized.
JASEC Lab enables the development of new products at low cost by matching three parties: researchers (academy members) who want to master academic research, businesses (business members) who want to manufacture and sell new products, and a coordinator with the specialized knowledge to mediate between the two and facilitate smooth communication.
The opportunity to develop new products is open to all members of the Society, including researchers, business operators, and coordinators, and the Coordination Department will introduce development partners, both inside and outside the Society, that are suited to each case.
*Researchers/business operators may consist of multiple individuals, or may be on a company, business, or organizational scale.
■ Product development process
Please submit details of the product you would like to develop to the Coordination Department.
If the applicant passes the screening, we will select an appropriate researcher, business operator, and coordinator. (Researchers may be research institutes, and businesses may be companies or corporate organizations.)
The schedule and how development will proceed will be determined between the three parties, with the coordinator at the center.
Product development begins
Please report the progress at the monthly branch meeting. If there is any significant progress, please report it to us.
Completed We will manufacture the product through crowdfunding or our own funds and start selling it.

A. Commercialization and sales using existing papers
B. Modify and adapt existing papers to commercialize and sell them
C. Start with basic research, publish a paper, then commercialize and sell the product
■ Research paper expenses

There is no charge for research papers (covered by the society).
You will be paid commission from the sales of the product.
▼Case C
We will charge you the actual cost. However, this amount is much smaller than the amount that an average company would spend on product development.
In this case, you will also be paid a commission from the sales of the product in addition to the development costs.
